Remove or Move to Another Paddle

If you are moving your Kill-Shot Pro™Custom Kit to another paddle, click the button below to go to the How-To instructions. Otherwise, continue with the installation steps below.

– STEP 1 –
What's in the Box

Now that you have received your Kill-Shot Pro™ Custom Kit, take a few moments to watch the Step 1 video and familiarize yourself with everything included in the box.

  • Controller and extender cable
  • Adhesive to attach controller to paddle
  • USB charging cable
  • Alcohol wipes for cleaning your paddle before applying the sensor
  • Sensor (comes from factory mounted on silicon paper)
  • Controller removal tool
  • Quick reference guide with QR code for more instructional videos
  • Printed How-To instructions

– STEP 2 –
Clean Paddle & Test Sensor & Controller Fit

The Step 2 video covers two important requirements before moving forward:

Make sure Kill-Shot Pro™ is sized and positioned correctly to fit on your own paddle. Clean the surface of your paddle. Removing dirt, hand prints, etc. will ensure the Sensor and Controller will adhere to your paddle's surface and make it easier to move your Kill-Shote Pro™ to another paddle in the future.

Note About Sizing: The controller comes from the factory with the extender cable already attached, so we will first connect the controller to the sensor and set it on the paddle. The extender comes with a jog down, make sure that’s down when it’s connected to the controller to test fit. In this step you may find the extender cable + sensor + controller is too long. If so, you will remove the extender cable.

– STEP 3 –
Apply Sensor and Controller to Your Paddle

Now it's time to attach the Kill-Shot Pro™ Sensor and Controller to your own paddle. It is easy to do.

  • Set your sensor and attached controller on your paddle and get it lined up correctly
  • Pull the assembly as far down as you can on the paddle
  • Make sure the left, right, up and down space around the sensor and paddle is even
  • Note: be sure to apply the sensor before the controller. Peel and pull the silicon paper down from the top of the sensor about half way and press to adhere the sensor to the paddle.
  • Now lift the bottom of the sensor up and remove the remaining silicon paper, then apply pressure with your hand over the entire sensor to insure good adhesion.
  • Finally, remove the protective backer from the controller adhesive and attach the controller to the paddle. Press down for 10 seconds to make sure it sticks.

Pro Tip: Keep the silicon paper! This will come in handy if you need to store your Kill-SHot Pro™ Custom Kit or if you want to switch to another paddle.

– STEP 4 –
Test Controller & Sensor Connection

You're almost done. In this Step 4 video you will check the connection of controller and sensor you just attached is operating correctly.

Take your pickleball and tap the controller three times to get into setup mode. Wait until it says “exiting the play mode” and tap on the left, right, top, and bottom sections of the paddle to make sure it's reading correctly.
